What Gilbarco Passport is.
Gilbarco Passport is the c-store / forecourt POS running at the majority of US Gilbarco-equipped sites. It owns transaction-level sales, forecourt control (Encore dispensers), shift management, voids, refunds, fuel-tank monitoring, and the in-store item file. Passport exports operational data via the Net2 export, a structured XML dump generated nightly or on demand.
What data flows between Gilbarco Passport and StationPro.
StationPro consumes the Passport Net2 export (typically scheduled nightly). The export covers shift sales by tender, transaction-level detail with item file, void and refund logs, fuel pump totalizer reads, and the tank monitor readings if the ATG is wired through Passport. We do not write to the POS; Passport stays the source of truth.
What Gilbarco Passportalone doesn't give you.
Passport produces good operational reports, but each one lives on the back-office PC and answers one question at a time. There is no native cross-shift view of "this clerk's voids correlate with this cash variance," no automated daily reconciliation against bank deposits, and no link between scratcher serial gaps and shift attribution. Operators stitch this together in spreadsheets.
How StationPro closes the gap.
StationPro ingests the Net2 export nightly, pre-populates the EOD form with shift tender, runs Loss Radar across the void / refund / cash patterns, and reconciles tender totals against bank deposits via the Plaid feed. Lottery and fuel reconciliation also tie to the Passport shift attribution, so the loss-attribution story is end-to-end.
Current status
The vendor is in scope and the integration approach is known. We turn it on for paying customers within 2 weeks of the request.

Scoping call

Connection
We wire the Gilbarco Passport feed into your StationPro tenant. Depending on the pos & forecourt, this is a credential paste, a webhook config, or a same-day support ticket with the vendor.
Backfill
Historical Gilbarco Passport data from the last 90 days is ingested so EOD, Loss Radar, and audit views have context from day one, not just data going forward.
Go-live
Clerks and managers trained on the integrated flows. We monitor the first 7 days closely and fix anything that doesn't feel right.
Questions about Gilbarco Passport.
Which Passport version do you support?
Passport 12.x and later. The Net2 export schema we depend on stabilized at version 12. Sites on earlier versions can upgrade or use a one-time field-mapping config we maintain.
Do I need to install anything on the Passport PC?
No software on the Passport machine. The Net2 export drops to a local folder that we read via a small ingest agent running on the same back-office PC (or via SFTP if you prefer to keep the agent off the POS hardware).
Does this work with Encore 700 dispensers?
Yes. Encore 500S, 700, and 700S all report through Passport, the StationPro integration is at the Passport layer, so dispenser hardware does not affect compatibility.
