Introducing Loss Radar: see which shift cost you money.Learn more

Inside-sales intelligence

The store is where you make money. So that's where we measure.

Fuel is razor-thin. The store carries the margin. StationPro Inside Sales turns the same shift data your daily close already ingests into four live dashboards: open one console, work both sides of the ledger.

The four levers

Customer Flow turns pump customers into store entries. Basket Mix grows the ticket. Cohorts protects the loyal base. Promo Lift tells you which campaigns actually paid. Every section below is a tab you open after login, not a deck.

01

Pump → store

See which pumps actually fill the store.

Every fuel customer is a potential inside-sale. Customer Flow ties pump transactions to store entries by hour, weekday, and station, then overlays your active promo windows. Peak hours become obvious; the dead hours become honest about why.

What you see when you log in

  • Hourly conversion bars with peak hours highlighted in brand color
  • Per-pump roll-ups so you can see which dispenser draws the most foot traffic
  • A "what changed this week" callout when conversion moves more than 5%
  • Promo-window overlays so you can attribute lift to specific campaigns

02

Basket mix

Find the attach pairs that grow the ticket.

Average basket lives or dies on attach. Basket Mix mines every receipt to surface the SKU pairs that move together (coffee + sandwich, energy drink + tobacco, lottery + soda) and ranks them by attach rate, daypart, and station. The slow movers get flagged before re-order.

What you see when you log in

  • Top-142 attach pairs ranked by attach rate, with trend arrows by week
  • Per-daypart breakouts (morning rush vs. lunch vs. commute home)
  • Dead inventory list: SKUs with no attach activity in 14 days
  • One-click "create promo from this pair" hand-off to Promo Lift

03

Customer cohorts

Spot loyal customers and churn risk early.

Loyalty is who comes back. Cohorts groups customers by their first-visit month and tracks weekly retention, so you can see how each cohort decays. The third silent week is when most loyal customers leave for good. That's when the churn flag fires.

What you see when you log in

  • Cohort retention heatmap (4 months × 5 weeks), brand-tinted by strength
  • Churn-risk queue ranked by historical basket size, high-value first
  • Segment tagging (morning coffee, weekday lottery, lunch break, etc.)
  • Re-engagement triggers: pump-side offers when a churn-risk customer fills up

Promotion lift

Measure the lift, not just the spend.

Most promo dashboards show what you spent. Promo Lift shows what changed because of it: promo-window sales vs. baseline, incremental margin per campaign, ROI by station. Campaigns that only shift timing show up as flat lines. The ones that actually grow the pie surface fast.

What you see when you log in

  • Side-by-side baseline vs. promo-window sales bars per campaign
  • Incremental margin (in dollars, not %), the only number that pays the rent
  • ROI multiple per campaign and per station
  • Auto-stop suggestions when a promo's ROI drops below your threshold

Inside-sales FAQs

How does Customer Flow know a pump customer entered the store?

StationPro correlates fuel transactions to subsequent POS transactions on the same payment instrument (card hash, loyalty ID, or session token from the dispenser controller). For cash fuel customers, the system uses time-of-day and forecourt camera signal (when integrated) for a probabilistic match. The methodology is documented and tunable per station.

Do I need a loyalty program to use Cohorts?

No. Cohorts works on de-identified payment tokens by default: the same card hashes already passing through the POS. A loyalty program enriches the cohorts with named segments (members, frequency tiers) but is not a prerequisite.

How is Promo Lift different from what my POS already reports?

Your POS reports promo redemptions. Promo Lift compares promo-window sales against a baseline reconstructed from the same store's pre-promo weeks, holding daypart and weather constant. The number you see is incremental margin (not gross promo sales), which is the only honest measure of whether a campaign paid.

Does turning Inside Sales on change the daily close workflow?

No. The daily close runs exactly as before. Inside Sales adds four sibling tabs in the same operator console; opening any of them is optional. The two surfaces share the underlying shift data, so there's no double-entry and no separate setup.
