FAQ

Common questions, honest answers.

If you don't see yours here, the deeper pages cover the rest: pricing, support, security.

Is StationPro a POS system?

No. StationPro is the back office that sits behind your POS. We ingest transaction data, reconcile EOD, automate invoices, and surface loss attribution across cash, fuel, and lottery. Bring your Verifone, Gilbarco, NCR, or Toshiba; we adapt to it. See all integrations.

How does loss attribution actually work?

Every shrinkage event (cash variance, scratcher gap, fuel margin drop, void burst) is timestamped and tied to the active shift, the on-clock employee, and where integrated the matching camera event. You stop guessing and start seeing patterns. Read about Loss Radar.

How long does onboarding take?

Days, not weeks. Most independent operators are live on one station within 5 business days: day one is POS connection and clerk training, days two through five are data migration and QA. Multi-store rollouts add roughly a day per additional station. See pricing.

Can I keep my POS, accounting tool, and bank?

Yes. We integrate with Verifone Commander, Gilbarco Passport, NCR Voyix, Toshiba, QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Quicken, Xero, and Plaid-backed bank accounts. We bridge against Series2K and PDI Enterprise so you can run alongside an incumbent during cutover.

Is my data secure?

AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, AWS hosting in US-East and US-West, role-based access, immutable audit log, daily snapshots. Read the security page.

Do I need a contract?

No. Every plan is monthly. Cancel anytime in one click; your data exports as CSV. No setup fees, no implementation services SOWs, no cancellation penalties.

How does AI fit in?

Three places. Loss Radar uses anomaly detection to rank shrinkage events by severity. Invoice OCR extracts line items and flags price changes. The AI Assistant answers plain-English questions over your data with citations to source rows. No hallucinated answers. See the AI Assistant.

Can I start with one station?

Yes, and we recommend it. Pick your highest-pain station, run a 30-day pilot, expand once the loss-attribution and EOD numbers prove out. Schedule a demo to scope the pilot.
